Latex is good for wounds and sores, ect., but it's hard to get less you order online.

Seems like a pretty good idea

Also, only put blood where it seems necessary.
Don't put blood where signs of a wound isn't or where blood would drip from somewhere. It's okay to have some random splatters, but keep it reasonable.

And sometimes it's good to be pale, so don't be pearl white with the makeup on, be a "drained of blood and totally dead" white.

Nuclear bomb is difficult, but not impossible, there are websites that offer make-up which will give you a Harvey Dent burn kind of look, because a nuclear explosion would be mostly burning, I believe the company that makes the kits is called 'Ben Nye' if you google it, it shouldn't be hard to find. As for Road kill, it you were run over, you may want to get a cheap shirt and actually have someone run over it for tire marks, if you were slammed into and thrown, you'll want more bruising and scraping and a lot of blood around your mouth, such a hard hit would make you cough blood. I've always used tattered black pants for my zombie outfit, those are tried and true, but to add to the rave aspect, you might want to put neon tights or stockings over them.

I might go with ether, both are good. I might break a glow stick or buy some glow paint and do red glow paint on my shirt so during the rave my blood will glow. I do love your idea about the nuclear, it sounds fun to do. The Roadkill sounds good too. Hm. I have lots to ponder.
